the art of sinking
past two days...had the 1 star kayaking course! .yeah. was kinda cool. and seriously fun. lol. epecially today!. =). yep yep
we learnt the forward...backward sweep jaydraw classicdraw and sternrudder strokes.and finally CAPSIZING. lolx. basically not very difficult...i found the draws the most challenging...and the sternrudder kinda difficult to control too..
1st day...started kinda stupidly. lol. we met...the 1*kayak grp!. lol at kallang..before walking to the KLSSC . kallang seasportsclub . yeah. and we started with running back to find xinhui's wallet. slipper + running = big no no. thus i ran on barefeet. in the end din manage to find it. =/
ANYWAYs...back to kayaking...yeah we learnt the different parts of the craft...we had bandits to play with. cool!. mine was bandit 01. number 1 k...lol.
nth much for the rest of the day...except that i realize how difficult it was to travel in a straight line in a kayak. it's almost impossible man. seriously.
2nd day was much more fun...we started with the classic draw...after which we learnt the TX rescue method..cool. it's a 2 star method k...lol. then had sum CRAZY scenarios...like...tidal wave!. all of u capsize at once...how to rescue ..up to u to decide..lol! cool man. than...ur paddle one side broke. row back to shore. -.- lol. me and dennis do the dragon boat style...cool rite!. lol dam far. tiring. then row 1/2way...he say..now other side also no more. continue back. use hand and paddle...lol but all in alltoday was fruitful!. yeah. (i din do my gp essay though. i think the idiot's gonna kill me)
lol after the course and the CERT..lol we went to suntec...yeah the 1star kayakers!. cool rite...bought dinner and sat above fountain of wealth to eat. lol...
then us cat high ppl go dedicate song to the kayakers lah...i i wan i wan you!
lol den all dunnoe how to dance...(including those two ogls...lolX.)
and then we went home...with everyone pangsehing me to take bus... lolx
hope orientation two is gonna be fun. i'll sure try to make it so =)
