vj vj SEH!.
hahas. an apt way to start a post of well. about VJC!
=) yepp
come to think of it. today i saw that i really made the right decision in coming to vjc.
well not only today lahh. there are many accounts on which i can say that i have made the right decision. today was just one of the many.
hahas. soccer finals against the mjc-s.
it was pouring like nobody's business just before the match.(i should know. i went running and came back when the nice waterfalling started)
well went to match support with my class =). hahas. can't always pangseh them for odac right...hey. i nvr always pangseh anyways -.- . lol...thats what ithink loh! maybe i really did lotsa times. hahas it was unintentional-.-.
ok we arrived at jalan besar stadium...the rain had dwindled to a nice drizzle. and so had the class -.-. to a nice group of four =) . weiqin ct rep robin and me.
and to think i went with my class -.-. i actually went with what's left of it.
but during the buildup and the actual playing time of the match itself. well. there was no class cca or wadever. we were all purely victorians. as one! =) yepp.
cheered like crazy...screamed myself out(and still din get my throat sore ) we weren't very near the centre of the cheering and all but WHATEVER. we still cheered like mad. there was a period in which vjc was trailing 1-0. well the cheering was kinda deflated then. haahs. i guess we were probably saving up for after the interval. WHAM. hahas. mjc din know what hit them.
it really blew over in the last 5 mins? where vjc scored 3 goals =). totally liverpool like. well mj fought well. nice try(aside from SOME time wasters...yeah like everytime ppl went down injured. they had to come in pairs!) . but WE'RE THE CHAMPIONS =)
cheered and cheered and cheered.
the excitement was feverish hahas. totally unlike the girls final the day before...probably almost the entire school went down for this final. final score stood as vjc 4-2 mjc.
well the goals were all pretty nice(vjc ones lah) the first had konchesky plastered all over it(avid viewers of football will know what i mean) . the 2nd one was a nice shot. third a great header. and last one an amazing solo effort. at least give him the credit for running all the way there and having the composure to finishing it off =).
yepp thats how we beat mjc.
hahas.
well today i got to see what vjc can truly be.
we may be split into classes...ccas....cliques...blahhs and all.
but when we're cheering together.
u really feel the VJC spirit.
whenever we scored a goal the stadium erupted. i could literally see the sincere joy in everyone's face. we all had a common goal. to come and watch our team conquer! to cheer them on as one!
thats what vjc's spirit is i guess.
the victoria's secret ...as it was introduced to us at O1.
hahas. it isn't really a secret at all.
its in our school's culture.
we just din realized that it was there at first.
ogls..seniors...friends and all opened our eyes to it
i guess it's become our culture now.
