so ot2 has come. and gone.
haha. dun really know wad t blog about.
the trip was fun. defnitely. wad can be not fun when we do it as odac. hahas. even the most tough. most senseless. most ardous stuffs. haha. yup. great job people on conquering that mountain. yep. =). the days that followed were. kinda SLOW AND BORNG. but hey. sometimes going slow is good for a change too. haha maybe not this time though.
yup. so 8 days have gone by. and i'm back again. back at the keyboard. back typing stuff. back doing everyday stuff as if nothing has happened. lol. its funny how quickly something can fall out of life. and into memories. i guess what'll be left is just the memories. life has to end sooner or later. but . haha. how valuable are memories man. we spend a lifetime collecting them. i wonder if we bring them along after our lifetime. hmm. haha. memories however. are nothing if they are just your own. fortunately for me. i've had odac along to create these memories with me=). yup haha. the only memories worth having are shared ones.
the mountain this time. fansipan. 3143 m. the peak of indo china. ha. but to my honest opinion. and most of the odac ppl. fansipan was a luxury. it just brought us a physical challenge . everything else was. easy. seriously. hm. haha korbu is THE mountin to climb if u ask me. one that challenges both mentally and physically. ask any odac person. most of us will tell u that thoughts of giving up occured to us on korbu. much less would have the same answer of fansipan. fansipan was like...haha. coz we had porters. porters who prepared hot dinner for us. steamed rice and stir fried dishes. on korbu. we had to cook our own hot food. in the fricking rain. thats what i call suffering man. on fansipan all we had to do was sit tight and wait. lol. and the climb up to the peak was done without our full pack. onkorbu. we carried our stuff EVERYWHERE we went. hm . on fansipan we had a nice solid long house that was built. that sheltered us from the wind and rain. on korbu. we suffered in tents. having to pitch them up in cold rain that lashed down on us. pitch them up in darkness. pitch them up although we felt like breaking down.
thats the difference this time.

true. but if i were to remember a mountain i climbed. korbu will defintely come into my mind first. haha. the sense of elation. exhiliration. achievement. satisfaction when we got off korbu was everything. what we got when we completed fansipan was...haha nothing much compared to korbu. ahhh
dunno why am i making so much comparisons. but hey. it sorta came naturally. i guess i had decided that fansipan was going to be VERY tough. if there was ever a sense of over preparedness. well this was it. korbu we were unprepared fansipan. well. haha. we thought we were unprepared. in a way we were. we weren't expecting the luxury. thats good in a way. at least we knew what it could've been like on our own.

still it was a great climb to the top. tiring defintely. but only on the physical side.
well after the mountain we sorta became a tour group. haha. travelling the rea to see stuffs and all. nothing much exciting le. haha. hmm. but hey we still took many many photos . as usual. haha go check out the odac website ppl. every time a camera is flashed. ppl will start posing. haha. so thats a whole lotta photos. and seeing that this time there were so many more cameras. well. ahha we just have to wait and see when all the photos are uploaded.
ahh.
so fast ot2 over. thats the end of our ots already. at least our official ones. nxt yr is gonna be study yr. yup i hate to remind myself of this but. hey haha. i hope everyone did have fun on this trip. i most certainly did. well at least for most of it.
oh and i mde some new friends on the trip. haha. all of the non odac ppl i guess.

theres singying. who like to sing. i guess. lol. especially wanglihong or something. coz she sang that on the mountain. and yah u do have a funny surname. pang. thanks for everything.

hmm. melissa. iq max dunno number wad. haha seriously. alot like yeohuihui. haha. even telling me off for wasting food. and talking about african kids. lol. and u walk fast lah k. haha dun need race -.-'.

and to the odac ppl. as ever...there for me. more than words. =).
